The objective of ELECT A NEW CONGRESS, and its website are to provide all 162,000,000 registered American voters the means to elect a new congress dedicated to restoring liberty.
The objective of ELECT A NEW CONGRESS, and its website are to provide all 162,000,000 registered American voters the means to elect a new congress dedicated to restoring liberty as our basis of government, which is the only means by which we can restore America’s greatness and wealth.
WHEREAS LIBERTY is defined as that State where the people rule over the government: This Declaration is given to underlining those critical terms required to ensure that Liberty, which is the original intent of our United States Constitution, be restored to the daily governance and operation of our United States Government.
This Declaration of American Liberty supports and is subservient to America’s Declaration of Independence & our U.S. Constitution.
We the People, acknowledge that Liberty requires all powers of the Congress be removed from the access and control of individuals, groups, or agencies; for it is only by usurpation of these powers, that factions gain control over the laws of the land and the lives of her people. It is this criminal and treasonous usurpation of power, that “ is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed.”*
Further, that these restored powers of Congress are to be executed under the authority of all the people, re-establishing not only the power of Congress, but also its fiduciary duty to the people. The incorporation of these procedures inherent to Liberty into our government is a touchstone and the very cornerstone upon which we judge our Liberty.
THEREFORE, We the People, hereby sign and resolve ourselves bind our representatives to, Demand:
We the People either live in Liberty, or tyranny. We either rule our government, or be rule. We either all enjoy the bounty of our nation, or we wait for scraps from the hierarchy which rules our money, our lives, and our freedom. For Liberty means nothing if tyranny has one hand in your pocket and the other round your throat.
Liberty and tyranny are in dialectic opposition. Each defines the other by which they are not. Everyone must make their choice, and no decision, is a decision for the status quo of tyranny that afflicts and rules our nation today.
THEREFORE, We the undersigned cast our lot and lives for Liberty.
*George Washington excerpts: Farewell Speech to the Nation, September 19th, 1796
** GW quote.
Nearly every power/duty of Congress has been re-allocated to private corporations like the Federal Reserve Bank and the Executive Branch of government. This has removed the Public Forum from the power/duty of the Congress. But it is the Public Forum by which the people rule over their government. And as the Public Forum has been removed from the exercise of all congressional power/duty(s), not only has the power of the people over our government been removed, these powers are now used to rule over the people.
Not only is this in violation of our Declaration of Independence that “Governments are instituted amongst men, deriving its just powers from the Consent of the Governed”; as President Washington warned, these power/duty(s) always end up in the hands of “cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men”, and that this “usurpation…is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed” (Farewell Address to the Nation, Sept.19th 1796)
If all 162 million registered voters vote only for that candidate who will pledge themselves to the demand of this Declaration, we will have a new Congress and America will once again be a government by the people, and for the people. Otherwise, it will remain the government by which our ruling elite rules and bleeds America in servitude.
The plan is to:
1) Use this Declaration of Liberty as a litmus test of support for any current member of Congress, as well as any prospective candidate for Congress. (see HM 535 – 2014 Congressional campaign)
2) This website and other affiliated websites will post those members of Congress that have signed on, and will identify those candidates for Congress that have signed on to restoring Liberty to America.
This Declaration of Liberty empowers all Americans to vote as one and take back the Congress.
This Declaration of Liberty is searching for that one Congressman and one U.S. Senator who has the courage to convert this Declaration of Liberty into both an HR bill and SB (bill), make it official, and provide a rallying point for all Americans. Who in Congress has the courage?
We want to extend that power of the people back into the government of the United States of America, as America’s Founding Fathers originally intended.
We know of no other way to accomplish this, than to demand of the Congress, that they fully take back control of all their Constitutional Powers (Duty), as specified in Article I, Sec. 8, of our United States Constitution, and place the execution of these powers back into the Public Forum, because this creates the transparency the people require in order to provide by their vote, the Consent of the Governed. Thus only can the people rule, and this defines Liberty.
This is what is wrong in America today. The people have been robbed of our power over this government, which is supposed to derive its just powers from the governed, according to our Declaration of Independence.
Stolen by the distorted and perverted application of the necessary and proper clause against the intentions of our Constitution’s Framers, the constitutional power and authority of the people made possible only by the Public Forum, has been stripped away from the legal function of our United States Constitution.
For what may be necessary is never proper when it removes the duly constituted proposal, debate, compromise, and vote over these powers within the Public Forum and out of the constituted and daily exercised powers/duty of Congress: But in its stead, places these powers into the private hands of “cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men…(who) take up the reins of power for themselves…(For this) is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed.”*
Therefore, we make this demand on behalf of all Americans, and ask that all Americans make this demand known to their respective United States Senator and Representative; That unless they pledge to commit their vote in Congress to this demand for the restoration of the Public Forum and the power of the people over our government; …“We will not vote for you, further, we will vote for someone who will.”
It is that simple, and we ask all Americans to join with us, and restore our liberty, freedom, and the Constitution of our Founding Fathers back into America, for all Americans.
